Every hour, 26 crimes are reported against women in India. One complaint is filed every 2 minutes for cases relating crimes against women. As we know that women safety is one of the major issue of concern in our country. People feel hesitated to move out of residence at night due to lack of safety and support.
There is a need of a device that can be affordable, user friendly, small yet smart, can be carried by one easily and cannot be easily identified as a tracking device by the attacker. Allows the wearer to instantly notify up to 10 preselected guardians during moments of emergency and panic.
This will provide the wearer with the method to quickly respond to the action by the attacker and with the sense of safety at any time, any place in the world. This project involves a band that can help find the location of user in danger. There is a HELP BUTTON in the band that will be pressed by the user in danger. Due to which a warning message will be sent to the guardian with exact position with the latitude and longitude.
Wristwatch that tracks location of the wearer with cell tower triangulation method and sends distress messages to predetermined mobile numbers and police helpline number using GSM module.Predefined phone numbers are added into the watch using the app which will be in synchronisation with the watch.When the wearer is in need of help she will have to press the button twice which will tell GPRS module to send the message with coordinates of the location in it.
