Portable Ventilator,By Lebanese Response Team
In the context of the novel Coronavirus crisis, this project aims at supporting the Lebanese Hospitals treating Covid-19 patients. Covid-19 leads to a reduction in the lung function, therefore a difficulty in breathing. One of the Lebanon Response Team goals is to manufacture locally portable ventilators that deliver oxygen enriched air into the lungs of the patients, because the currently available ventilators in Lebanon might not be sufficient as the cases increase.
Our objective is to design an open-source portable ventilator using easy to find and affordable components.
