In crowded places, mobile cameras are regularly deployed by security services to monitor and control the crowd. We devise an novel method to analyse and describe the situation of the crowd using computer vision, thereby giving an easy and consistent way for security services or law enforcement to get a 'situational report' of the place.
Automated Situational Reporting is amazing due to the potential it holds in capturing situations of unrest, crowded streets, areas requiring attention/medical support, areas where policemen aren't/cannot be deployed for various reasons.

Amrullah, one of the developers in this team, have worked as a law enforcement officer during his National Service for his country and has personal experience working with a manual way of doing 'sitrep'. So he wants to devise an automated way to make the lives of men in his service easier.
