Abstract
Read more- The objective of this project is to make a servo motor based Pick and Place robot.
- In recent years the industry and daily routine works are found to be more attracted and implemented through automation via Robots.
- The pick and place robot is one of the technologies in manufacturing industries which is designed to perform pick and place operation.
- There are many fields in which human intervention is difficult but the process under consideration has to be operated and controlled this leads to the area in which robots find their applications.
- Literature suggests that the pick and place robots are designed, implemented in various fields such as; in bottle filling industry, packing industry, used in surveillance to detect and destroy the bombs etc.
- In this project key pad consists set of keys which specify the operation such as pick and place.
- The key pad is interfaced to microcontroller through I/O port. When the key is pressed, the microcontroller activates the driver circuit as per mentioned in the program.
- The driver circuit is constructed with transistor which acts as switch to control the pick and place using servo motor.
