Entsa Smart Shower
“Entsa”means “water” in shuar language, the mother tongue of Amazonian natives from Ecuador´s jungles.
Entsa is an eco-friendly smart shower device because it saves from 70% to80% of water consumed during our shower. Entsa also saves time and energy.
For using Entsa Smart Shower the user presets the amount of liters of water to be used, 20 or 40 liters, and so on…. instead of 100 liters, It provides warm water right from the start. It regulates the amount of water dispensed per minute. Since the user presets the length of shower time in minutes, the established time beforehand is all it takes, time up, game over! Entsa uses less water in less time, therefore, less energy is required.
Entsa is easy to use, friendly in all aspects. It is programmable from a Smartphone by voice using Amazon Alexa like device, and by a touchscreen.

In addition to let us be proactively ecological conscious, Entsa Smart Shower can be operated by voice through Amazon Alexa like device or by a smart phone application which makes it easier for people with movement difficulties to take a shower independently, improving their quality of life.
Never again waste cold water!
On a daily basis, most people follow the ritual habit of opening the shower tap and wait for warm water. Depending upon water pressure in the pipe and efficiency of the water heater, it takes some time, even minutes and waste one litter or two or maybe more before water reaches a comfortable temperature. If you multiply this waste of time and water per person per day, the amount of waste is awesome.
Entsa’s integrated heater provides warm almost instantaneously. There is no need to spend in expensive central heating systems. Nevertheless, if you do have already a central water heater, Entsa can still work with its own in automatic mode but only until the water gets warm. Then, Entsa’s heater turns off and your system takes control.
Setup and Operation
Entsa Smart Shower is easy to use, it can be operated in three ways: built-in touch screen, through a smart phone application and finally,by voice command using Amazon's Alexa platform with what will be accessible to all types of people with security.
Risks and challenges
Entsa Smart Shower is in the design prototype stage. We want hire an electronic engineering company in the USA to develop the production prototype. We are in the application process of obtaining the UL certification for its sale after which we hope to be able to place the first batch manufacturing order to deliver to the backers and for use as samples to introduce the product to the market through on line sales.
