Solar energy is a freely available resource that is particularly useful for electronic devices on remote locations that require relatively low power consumption.
The idea of this project was to create a self-sustainable system, in this case, a weather station, for which purpose I will make use of the Freedomboard K82F platform.
In this project I used the I2C, ADC and GPIO interfaces for communication with the sensing equipment.
The power for the weather station is supplied by two solar cells connected to a power bank, as a way of maintaining a steady power source.
