Fun Feeder is a dog feeding application/device that detects the weight of the dog food bowl and the hunger level of the dog.
The weight of the dog food bowl changes depending on how much food is in the bowl currently. The weight of the dog bowl ranges from 0oz. to 50oz. (the standard amount to feed a large dog).
The hunger level of the dog will increase when the time from when you last fed the dog increases. 0% means the dog is not hungry at all, 50% means the dog is content, 100% means the dog is very hungry.
Device Description
You can adjust the sliders on the Kinoma Create Device by adjusting the sliders back and forth. When you adjust the sliders, the display of the Kinoma Create will change as well.
Companion Application Description
The screen displays the hunger level as a percentage (which is retrieved from the device). The image of the dog will change depending on the hunger level. The dog will be happy when he is 0% - 33% not hungry. The dog will be content when he is 34% - 66% hungry. The dog will be sad when he is 67% - 100% hungry.
Next, the screen displays the weight of the dog bowl. The image will change depending on how full the bowl is, either empty, somewhat filled, or full.
The mobile application will first display "--" for the weight of the bowl and the hunger level of the dog because no information is being retrieved. To retrieve information, click the "Update" button. This will draw the information from the device, display it on the screen and also changes the images correspondingly.
You can also write back to the device by clicking "Feed." This will cause the "Bowl Weight" on the mobile application to display as "Feeding..."and "Feeding..." to also display on the device.
(After wizard-of-ozing the weight to increase after pressing Feed)
You can click update once again to the see that the weight of the bowl has indeed increased! Note also that the "Feeding..." text on both the mobile application and the device has also disappeared.
