LED light & Buzzer controlled using Google Assistant

Story

In Today's world, All Technologies are depending on IOT for making smart Devices. We can use this Project for Home Automation, or control the alert system. This project is working by voice command by using Google Assistant. I have completed the Bolt Iot Training and now building the small projects. This project is made by using Bolt Iot Kit.

Now, Let's Start to build this Project..

Step 1: Hardware Configuration

Plug ground pin from bolt wifi module to the breadboard using male to male jumper wire. Plug the positive terminal (longer end) of the buzzer to any one of the GPIO pin (pin 1) and negative terminal (shorter end) to the ground of the breadboard using male to female wire. Plug Led light negative terminal (shorter end) to the ground of the breadboard using male to female wire and positive terminal (longer end) to the GPIO pin 1. Power on the bolt module by connecting it to any power source using a micro usb cable as shown in image below.

Step 2: Generating Bolt API Key and Device ID

Now, Login to https://cloud.boltiot.com. Generate the API key and enable it. After that copy API key.

Step 3: Creating Your Control URL

analogWrite command is used.

Structure for this command is:

https://cloud.boltiot.com/remote/API_KEY/analogWrite?pin=PIN_NUMBER&value=0-1023&deviceName=DEVICE_ID

Replace API_KEY with your API generated by your Bolt cloud dashboard.

Replace DEVICE_ID with your BOLT ID by your Bolt cloud dashboard.

• For turning on the buzzer and led.

Step 4: Setting Your IFTTT Account

Go to ifttt.com and Create your account on it. Click on create new applet or go to this URL :- https://ifttt.com/create

Make sure that use same account that using with your google assistant in your Mobile.

Click on '+This' to create the trigger.

Choose Google Assistant -> Say a simple phrase.

Type the phrase you want to trigger the action.

Make sure that you specify different command in different ways as I used below.

a) Turn on buzzer.

b) make buzzer on.

c) turn the sound on.

Now click on '+That'.

Search for webhooks

Enter the API URL that we have created in Step 3.

Select Method - GET

Select application/json in Content Type.

Click on "Create action".

Repeat the same steps to turn off the buzzerandled.

Only change the URL and phrases.

Step 5: Run the Project

Now, Start Google Assistant on your smartphone and say "Ok Google" along with phrase that you have mentioned in creating trigger.

So, I think that Project would be worked well.
