We wanted to create something that broke barriers and helped a problem that was underrepresented. We asked women: what improvements to menstrual cycle care could you use? And we answered their concerns:  

Our Solution

We present to you: my.Flow: a smart tampon that will notify you via a companion app when your tampon is full. 

The App

After researching existing period tracking applications, we wanted to provide women not only with a revolutionary tampon function but also to use data collected to better their period experience. 

The app features a countdown timer that will warn the woman of when she should change the tampon based on how long the previous tampon took to fill up. It also includes a cycle flow chart, displaying the times it took the tampon to fill up on average. Lastly, it also features a calendar to make tracking the period cycle easier.
