The LightSleeper Baby Monitoring System is unlike other conventional baby monitors in several ways!
In addition to providing the usual sound monitoring and transmitting capabilities as with conventional baby monitors, The LightSleeper system adds the component of light!
First, a LightSleeper control module is placed in both the parents’ and the child’s room. The LightSleeper modules are connected to each other wirelessly, and the software in these modules activates a LightSleeper Lamp in the parents’ and the child’s bedrooms. These lamps are activated when the monitor in the child’s room detects that a certain “child-created” decibel level has been reached in the child’s room.
The monitor in the parents’ room not only allows the parents to hear their child and determine the urgency of the need, but the innovative features of the LightSleeper system allow improved and safer reaction of the parent, enhanced by light. The LightSleeper system in the parents’ room is designed to accept a C-Life Bulb, allowing the parents to be more alert when they awaken. Secondly, the LightSleeper module can also be programmed to control existing lighting in the room, allowing the parents to avoid any obstacles as they exit the room.
Simultaneously, when the prescribed decibel level is detected, the LightSleeper system in the child’s room, which is designed to accept a C-Sleep Bulb, will activate, and this calming light will sooth the child until the parent arrives.
The LightSleeper system can also be equipped with a LightSleeper Routing option that can be installed along the path to the child’s room, allowing for greater visibility and alleviating the need for searching for light switches while the parent is in route to the child.
The LightSleeper system benefits all parents and children; however, it could also help hearing-impaired parents or possibly aid those who care for the infirm and others who suffer from Alzheimer’s or other illnesses requiring 24 hours monitoring.
