According to the SAE problem statement, we were expected to create a CDA a fully autonomous secondary aircraft that could land in the designated area when dropped from the parent aircraft. So we came up with the idea of using the target's GPS coordinates to target the place and then controlling the CDA to land it inside the spot.
We conducted extensive investigation and gathered all of the CDA's essential components. The main brain of the design is the stm32, which sends commands to the other components. The BNO055 module was used to acquire pitch, roll, and yaw data and transfer it to the servo motors that moved the aircraft's control surfaces. A GPS module was employed.
At the end we would like to thank JLC PCB for providing us with most efficient and best quality PCBs.
