SmartShelf is a hardware device that works hand-in-hand with a phone application that allows users in a retail environment to keep track of their inventory, order new stock when necessary, and facilitate better and faster workflow. Using feedback from our low fidelity user test, we made some changes and improvements to our application - as explained below. Additionally, we implemented a device simulator for the hardware aspect of the project, as well as a scanner simulator to facilitate some of the required tasks. General improvements were made to create a more streamlined user experience.
