A home automated solution to the "smart baby monitor" craze. Cheap, full of useful functions, and fairly easy to build once the code is compiled and the hardware acquired.
I have a 7 month old son, and shopping for him I see plenty of fancy baby monitors, costing upwards of $200+ USD. I thought to myself, I could build better, for so much cheaper. Got home that day, and saw the contest email. I knew what I had to do.
