When I started developing my AI-powered smart hearing aid, I first explored MATLAB to model the DSP algorithms and test basic signal processing concepts. While MATLAB gave me a good foundation, I wanted a faster, more hardware-oriented toolchain. That’s when I moved to Altair Embed, where I spent about two months constructing the core DSP framework—building noise reduction filters, adaptive gain control, and speech enhancement models in a block-diagram environment.
During testing, I realized that modeling alone wasn’t enough. I needed a way to deeply analyze, visualize, and optimize the system using real-world signal data. That’s when I integrated Altair Embed with Altair Compose. By connecting simulation with analysis, I could seamlessly process large datasets, tweak algorithms, and validate results in real time.
This integration was the turning point—it allowed me to go beyond theory and build a more reliable, adaptive, and user-friendly solution. The journey from MATLAB to Altair Embed, and finally to combining Embed + Compose, not only accelerated development but also gave me the confidence to translate an idea into a practical innovation for better hearing.
