I created this IOT enabled, smart house watering system for my our 2nd midterm assignment. It publishes when the water is low, watering times, temperature, humidity, soil moisture and air quality. It tracks when the water in the reservoir is low and sends a text as well as blinks a the light on the circuit board.
My focus was to make this project visually pleasing, keeping the wires organized/tidy as well as creating components that would prevent water from reaching electrical parts.
I like this design because of it's practically and versatility. It can be mounted on a wall. Or it could be placed in a wooden box with the circuit box screwed to the outside of the box. Or it looks great with the box laying on a counter or shelf next to the plant and water reservoir.
