Getting a delivery when there is no one at home is always a hustle. Usually, delivery boys leave the package in your front door which is not at all secure.
I have designed this seeing that in mind. This locker system gets connected to your home wifi and creates and sends four-digit OTP to the customer cellphone as an SMS. Every time the box opens the OTP changes and the customer gets updated with the new OTP.
ObjectiveThe main objective of this project is to set up a basic locker system in an Arduino Uno with a 4x4 keypad, 16x2 LCD and 12v Solinoid lock, every time we enter a random password it checks with the controller whether the OTP is correct or not. If it is a correct OTP, the solenoid lock opens. Once that is ready, I have used an ESP8266 which gets connected to the wifi network and sends string values to the Twilio API.
