Empowering Rural Healthcare with AI
Our project aims to bridge the digital divide in healthcare by developing an offline AI-powered health assistant for rural Ethiopia. By leveraging AMD Ryzen AI, we aim to improve access to essential healthcare information and support, especially in areas with limited resources and connectivity.
This project was inspired by the critical shortage of healthcare professionals and inadequate health services in rural Ethiopia. Many preventable diseases thrive due to a lack of knowledge and timely intervention. Our solution seeks to empower individuals with the information and tools to manage their health effectively.
The AI-powered assistant will provide personalized health education, symptom assessment, and basic medical advice, all accessible offline. By utilizing AMD Ryzen AI, we can ensure efficient symptom analysis and real-time response, even in resource-constrained environments.
