The PetFeeder application allows dog owners to monitor their dog's health by seeing how much they are actually drinking and eating. In addition, if an owner is away from home, and there is no one to feed their dog, they can refill their bowls remotely and watch how much they eat! It is a very simple interface. The companion app receives signals from the water bowl and the food bowl in terms of the percentage of the total capacity of each bowl. It displays this percentage on the application. In addition, the owner can press the "Refill Water" button or the "Refill Food" button in the application, and the hardware fills in both the bowls for you. As a small detail, if the percentage fill for the food or water is 20% or below, the bowls will be deemed empty on the hardware side.
