World Hello!

Built for World Peace ofcourse.I think it's odd how far LANGUAGE MODELS have come and how little we've done to use them to translate LANGUAGES. Gemma 4, on device, with no wifi made an uber ride have real connection with a spanish speaking driver. It was a pivotal moment. In a world where Russia is at war with Ukraine and my own country is back at war in the middle east, I wonder why. I understand history, but with such knowledge available and now with the internet and large language model translation, why are we scared of some phantom AI race between US and China? Why is this a zero sum game? I work with chinese people and where others shied away, I leaned in. I'm really my best self while traveling, and now I want to be able to connect with those people even more, and laugh about how direct translations sometimes leave something to be desired
