Traditional attitude control systems for CubeSats often rely on bulky and expensive magnetorquers, with commercial options costing anywhere from $1, 000 to over $2, 000 per unit. Our project explores a novel approach: integrating a PCB-based magnetorquer directly into the satellite’s structure. This design offers a compact, lightweight, and low-cost solution for magnetic attitude control, making it ideal for small-scale space missions.
