In a medicine factory, the medicine should be stored in a specific temperature range. If the temperature crosses the specified temperature range then the medicine will get damaged and this will result in loss of money. But with this project anyone can keep track of the temperature and can control the temperature by turning on AC or heater. This project also automatically turn on AC or Heater if the temperature is about to cross the limit. For this functionality we have used the google cloud platform services. This project also sends the alert notifications to the user if the temperature crosses the limit.
Here I will give you only the Idea to build this project. I have not given instruction to build this project.
Here in this project we have used the Bolt IOT module.
Bolt is a IOT platform where you can build your IOT projects. There are 5 digital pins on the bolt wifi module and 1 ADC pin. This module operates on 3.3V (normal mobile charger voltage). There is onboard wifi which connects it to the internet using the wifi.
1. User InterfaceHere as you can see the safe range of the temperature is displayed in green color. The temperature is displayed by using a gauge. You can manually control the AC or Heater.
2. Controlling temperature AutomaticallyThe temperature is also controlled automatically with the help of google cloud function and google cloud scheduler.
First we have created a google cloud function that will examine the temperature and will perform specific function.
After creating the function we are going to invoke this function every minute by using the cloud scheduler
The cloud scheduler will invoke the cloud function every minute and then the cloud function will get the temperature from the bolt wifi module. If the temperature is about to cross the limit then the cloud function will turn on AC or Heater accordingly.
