Eversince I got into development I had hacking and pranking in mind. Here's my variation of TV B-Gone in a stealth LED lamp.
At the base there's still the Attiny85, not the v model, without the 8Mhz crystal and the adafruit firmware, and the v1.2 schematic.

The principle is simple, you toggle the switch and the attiny fires TV codes to shut-down/turn on the TVs at which you're pointing the IR leds.
My variation is different because of the case. It's a 3 mode LED flashlight. I found it in a turkish bazar in Romania.
Mode 1: High power LED.
Mode 2: Police lights, blue-red LED flashing.
Mode 3: 4 white leds, which I removed and soldered 2 wide angle range IR and 2 small angle IR leds.
It is powered by 3-AA batteries at 4.5v which is perfect for me.
Tested and working. Pranked the whole TV section of a super-market.
It's basically invisible.
