At BIE2017, a team of eleven companies, each leader in their industry, created "Factory at Exhibition", a true production line 4.0.
Starting from a brass bar, all the production phases, including assembling and testing, of a ball valve were made. The single machines were connected to a centralized 4.0 system for controlling, collecting and displaying production data and production cycle.
Each of the eight Machines were equipped with a Rasperry PI3, on it Windows 10 IoT, PowerBerry and the controlling POWER-KI apps. On the Main Control (the "Riccio") ten LattePanda for data acquisition and display.
All the connection between the Raspberry and the Main Control were Wi-FI, with the machines PLC/CN through Industrial TCP/IP.
All the synoptics, 3D LIVE !!!, are provided by the PowerBerry Apps on Raspberry and displayed by the POWER-KI Gui Client on the lattePanda :
