Let's Get StartedProject Objective
This experiment will simulate a candle using an LED and allow you to blow it out using the whistle chip.
Building the Circuit
The minimum set requirement for this project is SC-300 and the Snapduino. Build the following circuit by following the directions in the PDF file:

Complete CircuitThe Circuit
This is a simple LED circuit where the LED anode is connected to PB4 and the LED anode is connected to Ground through the resistor R1. The resistor is a current limiting resistor that prevents to much current flowing into the LED. The Whistle Chip acts like a normal switch that is toggled through some vibration. The switch is being monitored on PB2.
The Software
The code in the sketch uses PWM to change the intensity of the LED in a random way giving the effect of a candle flickering. When the whistle chip is activated, the LED toggles between and on and off state. The Whistle Chip can be activated by vibrating it or by blowing into it like you would to blow out a candle.
