The task is to physically represent four different sensations: prickly, cold, splat, and boing, using only cardboard, color, and paper.
Prickly
The first thing I would do if I see a rose is try to reach for it. The idea is that upon contact, the first thought would be that the thorns are prickly. The danger of getting pricked is one of the key features of this flower.
Boing
I presented this sensation in a straightforward manner. The first thing I thought of was a spring.
Cold
The concept of cold is very general. I presented it using colors that are associated with coldness and darkness--hues of blue, black, and white.
Splat
For splat, I cut out a window and glued on some splattered egg cutouts with the idea of someone throwing an egg and it hitting a window.
