dériventure noun [de-ri-ven-ture] : an adventure led by a dérive

DESIGN

• I chose Caribbean Green (a bright variation of teal) as the main color for my app to convey a theme of fun and playfulness.
• Some of my design inspirations were the Pixar movie Up (hence the colorful balloons) and the app Lyft (for colors and their signature pink balloon).

TO GRADER: PLEASE READ THIS!

• The power button icon at the top righthand corner of my mobile app mockups is for login/logout. I didn't create mockups for interacting with this button since it wasn't required.
• I chose to implement Variation 2 (only the main organizers desirability features are used rather than individuals) along with some elements of Variation 1 (no one knows the final destination and all are routed to the same location).
• When I was recording my demo, the loading page part on the phone (1:55) and the swiping part on the watch (2:50) lagged. This lag only happened while I was recording, though, not when I was actually interacting with my prototype on Framer. I can assure you my prototype is lag-free!
