Start from MIDI-OX Analyzer Application project. We are going to add a MIDI device.
Open Windows Device Manager->Sound, video and game and you should automatically discover a driver for a MIDI input device.
We are going to add the new MIDI device. Menu Options->MIDI Devices shows us our configuration. We see the MPK Mini Mk II keyboard as both a MIDI Input and an Output.
Watch the input device get added. Click OK to save. Program restarts.
Use your electronic piano keyboard to play a melody. The speakers should play audio. On screen you will see the note messages printed in a readable format.
MIDI ox is a protocol analyzer program as well as a synthesizer. Explore the menu options and settings.
