This Smart Mirror Is Like a Giant iPhone

While getting ready for a night out, have you ever wished your mirror could magically become a giant iPhone? Well, web developer Rafael Dymek did just that: he created a fully-functional, smart touchscreen mirror based on Apple’s iOS 10.

He can use it to message friends on Facebook, summon an Uber, play some tunes on his Sonos speaker system, and control smart lighting, among many other things.

The design itself includes the time and date in the upper right hand corner along with the weather forecast in the top left. All apps can be moved around and placed anywhere on the mirror, just as you could do on your mobile device.

After 45 seconds of inactivity, it goes to sleep and appears as any ordinary mirror on your wall. Simply tap anywhere to wake back up and resume use. You can see Dymek demo his project in the video below!
