Nick Brewer recently scored a vintage intercom from an antique store for $20, and as any Maker would do, he decided to hack the device into something a bit more modern.
To accomplish this, he used a Raspberry Pi Zero, a sound card, a Wi-Fi dongle, a USB hub, a microphone, and a pair of LEDs, along with Amazon’s Alexa SDK.
Be sure to see it in action below! (Hey Nick, we’d also love to see this in our Internet of Voice Challenge!)
