A BMS is essential for any EV, monitoring cells behavior and ensuring a safe ride.
This project was developed with the intention to reduce cost, at the same time a scalable BMS for each battery module. The BQ76PL455 have capability of monitoring 6-16 cells, 8 channels auxiliary inputs (wich is used to temperature monitoring) and up to 15 other ICs for Daisy-Chain, measuring up to 256 cells in a single BQ network.
This project was designed for Formula EMotion UFPB team.

Note: BQ76PL455 is beginning to enter in NRND, it is being substituted for the new BQ79616 IC.
