Soldering Rings

Soldered rings using scrap wires in the Invention Lab.

Story

I found and set up all of the materials and tools needed to solder. Not pictured is the exhaust fan that I used to make sure I didn' t inhale the fumes.

I struggled a little with scraping the ends of the scrap wire's covering off, but I quickly learned that if you head the wire and an angle as you scraped, the covering came off easily.

I twisted the wires before I soldered just for extra support. The soldering process was quick and I was satisfied with my results!

Creating the rings made me comfortable with the soldering tools. I look forward to using the soldering tools for more complex projects.
