the notion of water level monitoring and management within the context of electrical conductivity of the water. More specifically, we investigate the microcontroller based water level sensing and controlling in a wireless environment. Water Level management approach would help in reducing the home power consumption and as well as water overflow. Furthermore, it can indicate the amount of water in the tank. As domestics and Industrial area this management should be implemented as for the saving the wastages and slumping water hazardous in the major problems. To control some high power devices such as lights, heaters, solenoids and motor with a microcontroller we need interface devices between the microcontroller pins and the high power devices.
The objective of this project is to design a simple, easy, to install, microcontroller based circuit to monitor and display the level of water tank that is continuously modified and controlled in order optimize to minimize wastage of water. The controller used is low power, cost efficient manufactured by NXP having 64k bytes of on-chip memory. It communicates with RF signals, sensed and transmitted by RF transmitter which is fixed on the tank and also control the motor. An integrated crystal display (LCD) is used for water level display of data received by RF receiver. Also the use of easily available components reduces the manufacturing and maintenance costs. The design is quite simple as software can be changed any time. It can thus be made to the specific requirement of the user.
