The object of this project is a Pride Lamp showing various flag colors created from paper, aluminum foil, and an Adafruit Circuit Playground Express that was connected to a switch with alligator clips and powered by a battery. Flipping the switch turns the lights on or off, while touching the pieces of aluminum foil changes the lights to the gay, lesbian, bi, trans, ace, and aro flags. It's a lamp as a way to show visibility- lights are flexible in terms of both color and brightness, and difficult to ignore. A way to say we exist even if opinions are to the contrary.
The code itself was rather simple. On Start the A0 pin ( the switch) was set to up, and the LEDs were set to a base white. Six On _ _ pins were set to On pin A# up with an If/Else nested within them. The If/Else were set to not digital read pin A0 to check if the switch was flipped, with the show ring light block with various flags inside the if, and clear set in the else.
