Hello, my name is Krishavardan, but you can call me Krish. I’m a 12-year-old student at Fowler Middle School with a passion for AI development. I created an assistant named Shady, designed to answer users’ questions, address concerns, and provide real-time updates. I’m currently considering an upgrade to integrate a more advanced AI called Rika in place of Shady. This robot is programmed to follow users and respond to their inputs intelligently and efficiently. The robot runs on a custom-built system using two Arduino boards—one as a remote controller and the other as the onboard processor—communicating wirelessly through a transmitter and receiver. Powered by a 12V battery and regulated through a current control module, it uses a dual H-Bridge motor driver to control motion. A breadboard with jumper wires connects the entire system for flexibility and easy prototyping. What makes this robot even more advanced is its integration with a laptop camera, allowing it to detect and visually track the user using computer vision. This enables it to follow the user in real time based on their position, blending hardware control with AI-powered vision for a more interactive and autonomous experience. No Raspberry Pi—just Arduinos, vision logic, and a whole lotta innovation.
