Do you like Gengar in Pokemon? Let's use shadows to create one.
Hardware- Micro:bit V2 * 1
- Newbit Arcade Shield * 1
- Jacdac Rotary Button * 1
- Jacdac RGB Ring * 1
- black opaque cardboard * 1
- A4 paper * 1
- several LEGO bricks
- utility knife
- scissors
- 3M tape
- transparent tape
Prepare a piece of black opaque cardboard, print out the pattern of Gengar, fix the pattern onto the cardboard, and finally use a craft knife to cut out the Gengar.
Then use LEGO blocks to build a rack with a slide, and fix Gengar to the side that can slide.
Now let's start programming. The LED will light up in red when the potentiometer is turned to the right, and turn off when turned to the left.
Testing the effect, it can be found that the shadow is not clear, because the light source is dispersed. We can use black cardboard to cover the other LEDs, assemble the entire device and see the final effect.
This time the shadow is clear and the size can be adjusted.
