This project aims to develop a smart street lighting system using IoT for automatic control and fault detection. The system consists of an Arduino Uno, an ESP8266 WIFI module, LDRs, LEDs, relays, and the Blynk IoT platform. The street lights automatically turn on in low light conditions and detect faulty LEDs using LDR sensors. If a fault is detected, a notification is sent to a mobile device via Blynk, identifying the exact pole and LED affected. The system enhances energy efficiency, reduces maintenance costs, and improves monitoring of street lights.
Automatic Street light control and Fault Detection
Traditional street lighting systems require manual operation and regular maintenance. Faulty street lights often go unnoticed.
