I always carry a fully charged power bank with me because I know how important it is to be able to charge my mobile device on the go, especially if I am using it for navigation or online meetings or as a mobile hotspot for my laptop.
Some people are careless and do not plan their mobile phone power consumption and towards the end of the day desperately ask to borrow a power bank. I always lend them mine. Sometimes I don't get it back and have to venture into my kids bedrooms to find it. I never ever get it back fully charged. Often , if out with a friend, I have to wait around while the friend charges their phone on my power bank.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy to lend out my power bank but I will be even happier if i got paid for lending it out.
My idea is an IOTA linked power bank , it will only release power if someone pays it. My friends and family can pay it through IOTA when they need to borrow it. I will get revenue from always carrying a charged power bank with me. The price per mAh will depend on how desperate they are, and the device will also charge a fee per minute so if they have slow charging phones or don't return it to me they will get charged extra.
The next thing I will build is a room tidy detection camera that credits their IOTA account if they tidy their room.
