The dsp-G1 44.1KHz 16-bit Analog Modeling Synth
This spring I ran a successful crowdfunding campaign designing a DSP synth.

Now a kit for building it can be had for $30 including a preprogrammed chip and the supporting components.
The chip reads TTL level serial MIDI data and outputs sound through a 44.1KHz Delta-Sigma DAC.
If you want to use it with for example Arduino, it can be connected to the ATmega TX port and controlled through a sketch.
Here is the sales and support site for the dsp-G1 chip:

Thanks to Blaine it now has a MIDI editor for changing the synth parameters with MIDI CC editing.
What does it sound like?
The entire synth fits inside the MIDI plug itself
