Current situation​:

This day and age, Singapore has been trying to incorporate more elements of modern technology into improving the efficiency of factories and the lifestyles of factory workers. Since modern technology has evolved, many elements can be used to improve the output of factories which then can contribute more to the economy of Singapore while maintaining good working environments for factory workers.​

Lies in balancing need for increased factory efficiency with priority of maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for workers. While modern technology has the potential to significantly improve productivity, there are concerns about the implementation of new systems and tools that may lead to unintended consequences, includes workers’ stress, risk of job displacement due to automation, or potential safety hazards if new technologies are not properly integrated or maintained.​
