I built Chip Maker because I had a difficult time easily finding technical specifications and sourcing electronic components from my bill of materials. I had a simple hardware project consisting of only 8 components however using existing web tools it took me over 3.5 hours to source the components I was looking for.
User: Alexa, ask Chip Maker for specs on 63k64
Chip Maker: Responds with technical specifications on the product. If the product is made by multiple manufacturers, Chip Maker will prompt you for that input.

Chip Maker: Responds with information about product availability in the market, pointing you to the online store with the best pricing and availability. Chip Maker will always prioritize the availability of authorized distributors and will also tell you of any non-authorized sources that have amazing deals. All results are available on a card in the Alexa app or on your Alexa enabled device with a display.
User: Alexa tell Chip Maker that I don’t want offers from Walmart.
Chip Maker: Removes Walmart from your list of offers. This is helpful if there are certain distributors that you will not purchase from.
User: Alexa tell Chip Maker to reset my offer settings.
Chip Maker: Resets your offer settings so that you receive offers from all distributors.
