My "Hot or Not" temperature converter app is divided into two sections. The top sections (light orange) is where you select the base or initial temperature you want to convert.
To start up the app, first select the type of conversion (Eg. Celsius to Kelvin), then use the slider on the top to select from what degrees Celsius you want to covert to in Kelvin. Because the colors separate the two sides of the conversion, the user won't be confused about what belongs to which side (the numbers, sliders etc.). There is also helpful instructions on the bottom to deter confusion.
Some bonus things I included are the conversion to Delisle Scale, a live conversion that occurs when the slider is dragged, and the design choice of using colors to clearly define each side of the conversion.
