Pablo Ruiz Picasso (born October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain, † April 8, 1973 has painted many a camel, which is still available today as an art print for about 40 euros to buy.
I have submitted a photo as a template to devote myself to the question of how I can spice up this camel.
There were different options:
- I could have painted a herd of camels
- I could have make it with wires and constant light up the LED
- I could have make it with conductive paint
- I could have used the Arduiono with the Example Blinking LED.
// the setup function runs once when you press reset or power the board
void setup() {
// initialize digital pin LED_BUILTIN as an output.
pinMode(LED_BUILTIN, OUTPUT);
}
// the loop function runs over and over again forever
void loop() {
digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(1000); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(1000); // wait for a second
}
Finally, my daughter presented me with several models of the camel and I decided me for a timing IC, the 555. Incidentally, my first project with this IC, so I express my thanks to the tutorial provider www.555-timer-circuits.com!
I followed this video, I could still do without one wire and I implemented the circuit with the software Eagle to a PCB.

In my case the circuit worked without the red wire left in the schematic (4 <> 8).
The PCB order is placed with a manufacturer and I inform, as soon as you can buy the PCB. ;-)
Hopefully Pablo will not turn in the grave - have a nice weekend. Maybe it's time for you and your family to go to a fine arts museum? Have fun!
