Sonoff Introduction

SeSonoff is a simple Relay module that could connect all of your electronic instrument to the web.

It was made by Itead and it is really cheap to buy for an IoT solution Device. The Sonoff is made with the ESP8266 Chip combine with a power supply circuit and a Relay.

To use this module all you have to do is connect the two cable from your house electric plug as an input to the module and then connect the output from the sonoff to whatever electronic devices you want to control.

after you connect the cables you need to download the official App called eWelink and make sure you have wi fi connection at your house.

Then setup the device using the app that you just downloaded.

Select the mode that suit your device.

Select the Wifi network for the sonoff device and enter the password if necessary.

Wait for the device to connect.

Now you have an internet connected devices that you can control from anywhere in the world.

Because this device is using esp8266 chip, that this device could be reprogrammed using any language that support esp8266 (arduino, lua, js, python).

Next tutorial I will try to hack this device so it can be used with the Blynk App.
