REPASCA is for physical store keepers. If you are a big retailer, REPASCA is for you. REPASCA will help you if you are the keeper of a small minimarket on main street too.
REPASCA: recognize both desired and undesired pattern on the scaffold. So, you will get a signal on your preferred device (a web page in your web browser). YOU will choose the meaning of a pattern. If the pattern is a desired one, you will mark as desired. Or, you can mark as undesired, or neutral. So you will see a web page with some symbol in green (desired pattern), red (undesired), yellow (neutral) color. If you see 'red' you send a person to accomplish the right operation. And so on.
Shopkeeping is going to be simplified (and cheaper) thanks to the power of an fpga.
I plan to use the development board to interface the camera with the fpga and send the result to a raspberry pi for the presentation. I love to make prototype using the KISS concept.
If the prototype will perform well I really hope to publish some device project as "open hardware".
The images collected, will be stored as anonymized data and used to train an "AI" to learn more patterns.
The mvp will consist in a simple AI trained on generic products on a generic scaffold.
