When you start watching TV you have to get up and turn off the lights or use your smartphone to turn them off. But what if your lights knew when you are watching a movie and turned itself off?
By using a C by GE bulb with light sensors inside of it, it can automatically detect how much light is in a room and adjust itself accordingly. For example If a window is open then you wouldn't need any extra light at all.
You can set a default light level for the bulb to be at when there is a medium amount of light in the room.
An example of how this bulb would work is If a window is open then the light bulb would dim itself on its own. And if a window is closed and no light is getting in then the light bulb is going to automatically become brighter. This is also going to save electricity. Another example would be when you start watching a movie the light coming from the TV will be sensed by the bulb and the bulb will dim itself.
