In this project, I’m introducing the WiFi Deauther—a DIY, open-source tool that fits in your pocket and costs less than $5 to build!

⚙️ HOW IT WORKS This firmware uses an ESP8266 to test 802.11 networks. The main feature is the Deauthentication Attack, which disconnects devices from their WiFi network. While this is an older vulnerability, many outdated devices and cheap IoT hardware are still susceptible to it. Use this project to test your own 2.4GHz network. If the attack is successful, it might be time to upgrade your hardware to WiFi 6!
