Pepper's Ghost Illusion has always fascinated me. The simplicity of a sheet of glass (beam splitter) being at 45 degrees partial reflecting an object is so cool.
I am also very much a fan of the Lord of the Rings. So could I have a Nazgul figure, 3D printed and solid? Then add to it a ghostly face using Pepper's Ghost. The face would be coming from a RP2350 display, so I needed true black blacks, or we would ruin the illusion. Key is you can't see the screen! Hence the AMOLED display from Waveshare.
The Waveshare RP2350 AMOLED 1.64 is ideal as also has header pins so I can supply power and control to some WS2812B LED.
The enclosure is all 3D printed and I have shared the 3D model.
