Water Aid

Drinking water and staying hydrated is very important in this vast lifestyle. Most of the people only drink water when they needed or whenever they are thirsty. Many people will have liters of coke but they will definitely not having time to drink water. But this is just not sufficient for a healthy body. An adequate amount of water intake is essential for the metabolism of the body. Again staying away from COVID 19 pandemic has a simple solution and it is regular drinking of pure water.

This project gives a simple idea of a reminder for our daily habit using the Internet of Things using Bolt IoT.

Here in this project, a buzzer will act as an aid who will keep reminding us to drink water at regular intervals just like a reminder, and hence it's a water aid. Generally, we use mobile phones for reminder but we get usually ended up wasting our lot of time in it. and so there is a need for something new and interesting which won't distract us from our work or studies and also we'll keep getting nudge.

STEP 1 -

Make the circuit connections as shown below.

Buzzer connection with Bolt Wifi Module using jumper wires.

Longer (+ve) = GPIO Pin 1

Shorter (-ve) = GND

STEP 2 -

Create an account on Integromate using this link. Integromat is a free tool to connect apps and automate workflows using no-code visual builder. It enables one to connect to any API and create complex integrations using built-in apps and tools, no coding needed.

After log in create the scenarios.

The below images shows step by step procedure.

Select Bolt to execute the command.

After clicking the add button enter your API key. You'll find your API key on https://cloud.boltiot.com/home/ on the API section.

Enter the command as Write digital output. You'll again find your device name https://cloud.boltiot.com/home/. Put pin 1 and state as HIGH.

The purple Tool icon will help to ring the buzzer. Select sleep and enter delay time as per your requirement.

The same procedure will be followed for Bolt's last execution the same as first execution only the state will be LOW here as we are stopping the alarm sound.

Here we are done with our execution and the scenario run is also completed successfully.

In this way, we are completing whole task in just 3 modules. We can change our settings in advanced options anytime.
