I'd like to introduce an RS-232 to Ethernet converter.Apologies in advance if this comes across as promotional.
There aren't many RS-232 to Ethernet converters in a module form factor that support PoE (Power over Ethernet), which is why we decided to develop one.
The module is designed to support protocols such as MODBUS, MQTT(s), and SSL, making it highly versatile.
It also offers flexible power input options—you can supply power either through a DC jack using an adapter or directly via cable. Impressively, it supports input voltages up to 40V. While many users in industrial environments prefer even higher voltage ranges, increasing the input voltage beyond this level proved to be extremely challenging.
We designed the board to be as compact as possible.
When you see the actual product, your first reaction will probably be,
“Wow, it's really small!”
Using the product is very straightforward.Simply connect the power and configure the module’s IP and other settings using the setup tool — that’s it.
All core functions are built into the module, so once it’s configured, it just works.Of course, there’s also an option to configure settings like the IP address via the serial interface.
You can use the tool shown in the image below.
It’s designed to make all settings easy to configure, so you shouldn’t have any trouble using it.
As mentioned earlier,PoE is also supported,
and many users use this product to control their RS-232 devices over Ethernet.
Thank you for reading.
