What do you get when you combine a wheeled robot controlled from your phone with a headlight, a photoresistor, an LED output and a speaker? Battle BLE Bot 9000!
Basic concept:
- Attach a light to the front of the BLE Bot 9000. Be able to turn this light on and off via the Bluetooth interface.
- Attach a photoresistor to the side of the bot to detect light.
- Attach a 16x2 LED output that will allow you to display two rows of lights. One row shows your light "energy", and the other row shows your hit points.
- Attach a speaker for fun sound effects.
Control your bot using the Blynk application described in the project above. Add a control for turning your headlight on and off and for resetting the game.
When the game is reset, your bot starts with 256 hit points. Each light in the first row of the LED output represents 16 hit points. As you take damage, your hit points decrease. LED lights will be turned off appropriately.
The other row represents your "light energy". Whenever your headlight is on, you are using energy. If you run out of energy, you lose the game.
